NATSAP
Research Designated Program Endorsement

NATSAP stands for the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs.

NATSAP stands for the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs.

For over 10 years NATSAP has conducted a national outcomes research initiative. In fact, Petree Consulting Inc. got it’s start helping programs participate in the study.

R2D2 is easily programmed with the surveys and rules prescribed by the study. We shoulder a lot of the burden for research coordinators and walk them through everything step by step. We really do make it easier!

Years ago NATSAP and OBHC joined forces and partnered in the NATSAP research network. OBHC eventually made data collection and reporting a requirement for membership. Consequently, OBHC programs have collectively gathered enough data to justify the creation of a wilderness therapy insurance billing code. OBHC researchers are striving to help denials consultants to cover treatment.

More than half of the OBHC members use our services. We offer special pricing for OBHC members. If you are interested, please give us a call.

What is a NATSAP Research Designated Program (RDP)?

An RDP is a program that has proven their commitment to outcomes research by using a normed and valid measure to sample client progress at the beginning, end and 6 & 12 months after treatment.

What are the rules?

You can get all of the information that you need on their website:

 How can R2D2 help?

We are really good at helping programs to make the cut. In fact, over 90% of RDP programs are PCI customers.

When we set up your account we program your dashboard with alerts that let you know if you’ve fallen below your data collection targets. Because your Remote Research Director monitors your account weekly we’ll never let you fall into the “red” without diving in to find a fix. That means you’ll get your RDP status as soon as possible … and keep it.

Also, we’ll take care of submitting your RDP applications and renewals as long as we remain a part of your team.
